Default Right Password, but wrong?

So I know my account password. I typed it in like 10 times, and the client said it was wrong, I know it isn't. But anyways, I reset my password to my email.
I then both copied and pasted it, and typed it out, and the client said the password was still wrong. I obviously know better than that. Anyone know what the problem is here?

Maybe it's the account name that's wrong?

id have to agree with Katsumi check ur caps lock there is nothing wrong at all its impossible unless.
1.someones hacked ya and changed password (good luck with that)
2. Your slightly retarded and are typing it wrong.
Also the change a password system in guild wars is very stupid i tried to change mine once and i was like.....Ah.....screw it.

Speaking of the change password thing in ANet - a buddy of mine got an e-mail from them verifying that his password had been changed successfully. Problem was, he hadn't asked to change his password and it wasn't actually changed. I figured there's someone out there still waiting for that confirmation e-mail.

Thanks,

but I never have caps lock on. Lets say the account got blocked, I don't know why it would, but if it did, would it let you know when you try and log in? Besides saying wrong password? I know the password that I'm typing into the field, is the correct password.

It should pop with a message and tell you the account is blocked. Although, it would more than likely say suspended or banned, instead of blocked.

Do you have reason to believe your account is blocked?

If it was blocked or banned it would say so, it wouldn't say you have the wrong password. You are putting in the wrong password.

Based on what you've said, if everything is as you've stated, then it sounds like a strong possibility that you've been hacked and the hacker changed the password.

Have you bought any gold online?
Have you downloaded any supposed "cheats" for guild wars?
Have you opened any e-mails from "Arenanet" or "NCSoft" asking for your guild wars account and password in order to participate in special programs like beta testing?
Have you given your account name or e-mail to a "trusted" guildie that asked for it in order to send you a cool screenshot?
Shared your account with your best friend from school/little brother/cousin?

You don't have to answer those here if you don't want to, but you know the answers. If you have done any of them, then it's likely that your account is gone.

Double-check the account name. Remember that games gotten through PlayNc have the "@plaync" part, WITHOUT a .com or such things.

Make sure caps lock is off and num lock is on. That is usually what happens to me when my passwords don't work.

So the CAPS Lock thing wont even trigger. Have you checked about post 2?
That was my fault meeting this issue. Checked the box "remember name" and then typed in a false one (a missing dot will do) it remains there and prevented me from logging in until I found out.
